Gates of Psycho immunity refers to a song by the late musician Hideto Matsumoto, known better as Hide. (pr. Hid-day) It’s a fundraising event for the Japanese Bone marrow foundation and features several live musical events beginning  at 10pm on the 4th, 7th, 8th and 9th of this month. In addition there’s a grunge-punk shopping area.
I found out about it from my friend, koguma Kumaki when he sent me this incredible bass guitar, his tribute to this very popular Japanese musician. It’s one of the cool items for sale at the event which goes until this Sunday. And like koguma’s top-quality glasses, all the impeccably textured parts are colourchange and there is a HUD with several poses to complete the look. He’s released several guitars and a drum kit over the past week or so, and all of them would be an ideal prop for any SL musician. Thank you, koguma!

I picked up this sweet dress at Lovely Hearts on the Japan canvas sim. It seemed the perfect frock for a picnic…but then it started to rain… But luckily I had my handy colour-change umbrella from Sdhat, and my cozy fedora to keep me warm.
I wear the fedora a lot, and consider it to be one of the most versatile freebie pieces in my inventory. Like the umbrella, it’s colour change, and fits very well. This shop is definitely worth a visit!
I’ve finished the look with the cute ankle strap pumps from S@bbia. The fit isn’t perfect, but they have a sweet look to them.

Gbberish is having a birthday celebration , and every item in the store is discounted up to 50 %. As part of the celebration, this smart little shorts suit is a gift instore. Although it has no prim parts (think low lag) the textures are so beautifully done that they really aren’t missed.
The hair is one of two lucky board prizes available at KMH. Be sure to look aroound while you are there. I picked up a simple low-prim skybox for 0L in the middle of the shop and was lucky to also win another skybox from the lucky chair. I couldn’t resist buying a table and chair set while I was there…the garden set is incredibly low prim…four chairs and a table with shadows only come to 10 prim, which I think is simply amazing. The texturing and poses are very skilfully done, and the set is a steal at 150L.

I’ve been lusting after the hair at Clawtooth for a very long time. The textures are so masterfully done, and always look so soft and touchable, and the styling is so elegant. And, there’s a half price sale on at the Clawtooth mansion on the Tableau Sim! What could I do but rush over and indulge myself?

The RFL Fantasy Faire has begun! It’s a real treat to see so many creative designers gathered in one place, and of course there’s the opportunity to donate to research for finally slaying that dragon, Cancer.
Despite the best efforts of the organisers, who’ve placed each fantasy category on a separate sim, and even offer surprise gifts to customers wearing low prim attire, the lag was a bit overwhelming at times. I persevered, as all good heroines should, and picked up this lovely gown from Evie’s Closet, and a pair of lustrous Ibanez Eyes.
The pretty skin is a Tulip Hunt prize from Women’s Dreamy Body Shop, and the wonderfully ragged cloak is a group gift from Caverna Obscura. I just love this cloak!
