Well, well… I was digging around my shambles of an inventory for something new to wear to Burning Life, when I got the group notice about this cool new top and leggings at C’est La Vie! Only a 20 minute camp, (during which I made surprisingly little progress in my attempts to organise my inventory) and they were all mine!
And thanks to Nedeko Kohime for letting me know when my letter came up at the Lucky Board at Find Ash…the military cap and hair seemed just the thing for braving the sun and wind of Burning Life. Thanks again, Nedeko!
I’ve been wanting to wear my uber cool and oh-so-tuff boots from amaama, and BL is just the place for them…ya never know when you might run into a rattlesnake out there in the desert.
And the dresses…these comfy and feminine frocks are perfect for a casual chic look on crisp Autumn days. They’re a new release, and available at the main store. Thank you for them, Larcoco!

You may have noticed that I haven’t made very many posts in the last week…well, er… none, to be exact.
That’s because I’ve been completely captivated by Burning Life, Second Life’s version of the famous Burning Man.
It is such an inspirational smorgasbord of creativity…this is a freebie NOT to be missed!
I’ve been having such a wonderful time, exploring, meeting really interesting people, wandering through the imaginations of wonderfully creative people.
The whole thing is such a treat…make sure to say hello to everyone you see; after all, it’s a festival!
I’m sorry for the late notice; Burning Life 2009 ends on Sunday night, so hurry over and have a look at some really amazing art.
Anyway, I’ve been carrying this burden of guilt about not posting, so I’ve hit on a solution…simply wear all the cool new gifts to Burning Life and take pics of myself having fun at BL!!
First up is part of Four Yip’s Fushion gift, which includes skin, chocolate-y gloves, and chocolate bear-nose for nose-rubbing, among other great toys and poses… There is even an armful of butterflies! Sweet and fun!
I got a little tired of being a Chocolate bear after severasl people asked me what was wrong with my nose, so I changed into another oyakin item; a sweet gift dress and stockings in faded ivory.
I’ve dressed it down with high-tops from Magi Take and cool goggles from Kumaki Glasses Style; all set for the next dust storm to sweep the playa.
I’ve included a pic of one of her recent releases, the blue denim skirt which I purchased while in the shop. I just love it. I so, so wish I had one in real life.

Sayuri Cremoine is back after a brief hiatus, and she has wonderful gifts to welcome us back into her shop!

It’s Divali, the Festival of Lights, in India!
And to celebrate, Mashooka has beautiful gifts scattered around the sim in gold gift boxes. The ones I found were all on the pathways and landings around the store. The gifts I found included two sets of jewellery, a ghara, (long skirt and top) and a silk shawl, and each gift is exquisite.
